At Rivers Health, we are proud to offer state-of-the-art CT (computed tomography) scanning, an invaluable tool in the diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of abnormalities. Our dual-slice, sub-second CT scanner features increased coverage areas, clearer images and improved speed.

CT scans use advanced X-ray technology to create detailed images of areas of the body, including arteries, veins and organs. They can assess blocked blood vessels, tumors and signs of stroke. The RH oncology team uses CT scanning to determine the stage of certain cancers, helping guide an appropriate course of treatment.

Rivers Health Radiology Services offers CT scanning for scheduled appointments as well as for emergency patients. Our highly skilled radiologists interpret scans and provide radiological consultations, and our certified radiologic technologists have advanced training in CT scan technology.
