As soon as you enter the doors of Rivers Health, a team approach to care ensures that you are treated efficiently and effectively – no matter what your medical issue may be. At RH, highly trained hospitalists collaborate with a health care team that includes surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other specialists to provide you with quality care and treatment in a timely, caring manner. Our hospitalists are available 24 hours a day to provide immediate and ongoing care to all admitted patients, from testing to diagnosis to treatment. They also communicate with each patient’s primary care doctor to obtain a full understanding of the patient’s medical history and ensure a smooth transition once the patient leaves the hospital.

Through our partnership Marshall Health Network, our board-certified team of hospitalists has grown in knowledge, training and experience. With advanced training in the unique needs of hospital patients and experience in handling a wide range of medical issues, our hospitalists bring extensive knowledge to every patient they see. When you have questions or concerns during your stay at Rivers Health, our hospitalists take the time to explain what’s happening and make sure your questions are answered – and in an emergency, they are immediately available to provide the care you need.
