Leport joins Rivers Health Medical Staff

Upon completing her three-year residency in family medicine, Hannah Leport, MD, a recent graduate of the Marshall University Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine, will join the medical staff of Rivers Health, a member of Marshall Health Network.

Beginning July 15, Leport will see patients at the newly renovated Rivers Health Gallipolis Ferry Rural Health Clinic office located at 15167 Huntington Road in Gallipolis Ferry.

In addition to her family medicine residency with Marshall Health, Leport serves as the resident physician with Ebenezer Medical Outreach in Huntington. The Point Pleasant native also is completing the American College of Lifestyle Medicine residency curriculum, which trains physicians to better serve patients with lifestyle interventions as medicine. She is a Paul Ambrose Health Policy Fellow, which focuses on health care policy and advocacy within West Virginia, and has served as the Doc-of-the-Day for the WV Legislature during the 2023 and 2024 regular legislative sessions.
