Family Medicine & Diabetes Care offered in Gallipolis

Rivers Health, member of Marshall Health Network, has opened a new family medicine and diabetes practice in Gallipolis, Ohio.

Rivers Health Family Medicine and Diabetes Care, located at 995 Jackson Pike in Gallipolis, offers chronic disease management for diabetic patients in Gallia, Meigs, Mason and Jackson counties. Patients with prediabetes, type-1 and type-2 diabetes will receive ongoing management of their health including individualized care plans, education, monitoring and prescriptions.

In addition to diabetes care, Gallipolis native Andrea Roberts, MSN, APRN, FNP-BC, a board-certified family nurse practitioner offers primary care for patients ranging from pediatrics to adults.  With more than nine years of nursing experience, Roberts most recently completed the Nurse Practitioner Fellowship in Internal Medicine at Marshall Health Internal Medicine, which is Accredited with Distinction through the American Nurses Credentialing Center. She earned her Bachelor's and Master of Science in Nursing at Cedarville University and has worked for several hospitals including Cabell Huntington Hospital, St. Mary’s Medical Center, Southern Ohio Medical Center and Holzer Medical Center.  

She will have office hours from 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. Appointments can be made by calling 740-925-9035.
